Dear SPAGN Members and Friends,

Sarcoma Awareness Month 2026 begins next week, and we are excited to launch another global campaign together with our SPAGN member organisations around the world.

This year's campaign highlights the many challenges faced by people affected by sarcoma while sharing one important message that connects us all:

You Are Not Alone.

Now is the perfect time to explore the campaign materials, plan your activities, and help us make sarcoma visible throughout July.

All the best from the

SPAGN Board of Directors & Team
🌍 Sarcoma Awareness Month 2026

Sarcoma is full of challengesβ€”from delayed diagnosis and difficulty accessing specialist care to living with a rare disease that many people have never heard of.

Throughout July, we will explore these challenges while sharing educational resources, community stories, quizzes, and activities that encourage greater awareness and understanding.

Together, we can remind everyone affected by sarcoma that they are not alone.

πŸ“¦ Everything You Need Is Ready
The Sarcoma Awareness Month website contains everything you need to take part in this year's campaign.

You'll find:

🟑 Weekly campaign materials & Graphics

🟑 Community stories

🟑 Quizzes and activities

🟑 Diagnosis Survey results and publications

Whether you are a patient organisation, advocate, healthcare professional, patient, or caregiver, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

The social media toolkit is laid out in tabs, just like last year, with links to help you locate specific posts throughout the month.

The toolkit also includes a VIEW ONLY link to the ready-made graphics in Canva. To customize the graphics with your own organization's colors, or to translate for non-English-speaking audiences, you will need to make a copy.
