πŸŽ“ New Online WECAN Course Launch
To mark World Cancer Day on 4 February, WECAN will launch the Patient Experience Data (PED) online course (Modules 1–4). This is a valuable opportunity for patient organisations and advocates to strengthen their knowledge and capacity in patient experience data.

As in previous years, SPAGN will be represented with a booth at the ESMO Sarcoma & Rare Cancers Congress to ensure the patient voice is visible and represented throughout the meeting. We have offered 15 complimentary registrations for SPAGN members, with only 6 spots remaining.

πŸ“£ Register for the SPAGN Annual Conference 2026 & Submit Your Projects

As announced the SPAGN Annual Conference 2026 will take place on 1–3 May 2026 in Stockholm, Sweden (Karolinska University Hospital & Elite Hotel Carolina Tower). Registration is already open & we have just added the draft agenda, so we encourage all SPAGN members to visit our page and explore.

A limited number of travel grants will be available for SPAGN full members to help cover travel and accommodation costs.

We also warmly invite members to submit their projects/initiatives for the SPAGN Advocacy Awards 2026:

  • Advocacy in Action Award – recognising impactful advocacy projects across all sarcoma types (excluding bone sarcomas).

  • Paola Gonzato Memory Award – highlighting bone sarcoma advocacy projects with tangible impact on care or quality of life.

Submissions must be from regional or national SPAGN members, be evidence-based, be already completed and van not be sumbited in previous years.
