Dear SPAGN Members and Friends,

We’re delighted to share highlights and key moments from our 15th Annual SPAGN Conference, which took place from April 11–13, 2025, in Washington, D.C., USA. This year's event was especially meaningful as it marked our first-ever conference held outside of Europe — a reflection of our truly global network and shared commitment to improving sarcoma care worldwide.

🌍 Global Attendance & Participation

Gathering in Washington, D.C., USA, from April 11–13, 2025, the SPAGN Annual Conference 2025 brought together over 130 participants, representing more than 30 countries, including patient advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers, and representatives from sarcoma organizations.

This year’s conference reaffirmed the strength and diversity of our network and the value of coming together across borders to drive positive change for all affected by sarcomas.

Over the course of three days, participants engaged a variety of sessions and activities:

➡ Five technical plenary sessions

➡ Specialized tracks organized by sarcoma type and patient populations

➡ Working groups and discussions

➡ Presentation of award winners for the SPAGN Advocacy in Action Awards, the inaugural Paola Gonzato Memory Award

➡ Presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Awards
